So, I bought "Getting Real - the book" from 37signals this morning...I wonder how many others will be blogging today with the same announcement (...ker-ching...) From their description: The book is packed with keep-it-simple insights, contrarian points of view, and unconventional approaches to software design. This is not a technical book or a design tutorial, it's a book of ideas. I'll comment a bit later once I have had a chance to pick out some of the bits I like...or not. Why did I buy it? Because 37signals have the best "sound bites" - short direct statements which make a point, easy to understand, easy to convey to others, (some are also easy to disagree with which is also fine)...and because we are developing some projects internally super-fast and trying to have fun at the same time... ...excuse me... I have to go ask someone "Is it done yet?" I opted for the "site licence" so I can share with Radu who I am sure will be blogging it later... Tags: 37signals getting_real book
