The four days week, what a wonderful dream... :) Is it really feasible? The guy from A list apart tried it and apparently succeeded. In fact, supressing all the time consuming crap like answering useless email, instant messaging et all, normally you should be able to do in for days what you would do in five. But the temptation on doing always more is always there, because there alwais interesting projects awaiting on your list, ain't it... In fact I think he is missing a point. As Paul Graham wrote, working in a startup is like compressing 40 years of regular 9-to-5 work in a normal company into just 4 years of insane rithm, whith the aim of having afterwards a financially sound situation, for the rest of your life. And if your competition gets there before you do, you're doomed.

Found today this post called, guess how, In Romania. Indeed it's just another crappy story written in the classic "In Romania..." style. I will highlight just this one: "4. drinkable water only by the bottle" Sorry sir, you're plainly idiot. Be assured, in most cases you can safely drink tap water anywhere in Romania. I dit it for over 27 years and I will do it anytime. Not only tap water, but also fountain water, and in the high altitude mountains you can even safely drink water directly from the streams. Please, stop spreading your bullshit about this country. It is people like you that made that poor stupid american girl I met several years ago, land to Bucharest's airport with half of her luggage full of water bottles...

First of all I would like to appologise to all the English-speaking visitors for having the title in english and yet the post being in Romanian. I don't really have a problem with english, as you all know, but... It's more handy to write in Romanian. Yet, I will also start writing into English, and the english posts will be archived under the English category.
